Product Description

The PED3-U universal stand holder is our simple low cost entry level product that works with any bare device or a device with a case or skin like the iPhone 4, iPhone, iPod, Blackberry, Droid, Palm, Motorola, Smartphones and more. In portrait view or landscape the PED3-U is a fast and simple stand with protected over cupped holding fingers to accommodate any device while keeping it securely in the stand. Like no other stand (except our others), the heavy stable platform shape is made from one solid piece of steel in the USA. Keeping your cable where it belongs can be frustrating and this important, that is why we used our Thought Out exclusive split back cable management design.

This stand is amazing. It fits my iPhone 4 fantastically, even thought I have my phone encased in an Otterbox.

I watch a lot of TV via the slingbox and the stand holds the phone at a fantastic viewing angle.

Totally worth getting and I'm seriously considering getting another one.

You will *NOT* be disappointed!

If you're looking for an elegant way to keep your smartphone-ish device out of your pocket, go ahead and add this to your cart. The cutout on the back of the stand allows you to easily thread a power cable to your device and the flat surface that serves as the base of stand allows you to reclaim that space. I wish the base of the stand were a bit heavier - when I try to use my phone while on the stand it tends to rock backward. This should not dissuade you from purchasing this product - an external hard drive, wallet or something of that weight placed on the base of the stand will easily make this one of your most cherished, and simple, tech accessories. Tested with a Nexus One, Treo 700 and an iPod Touch - all fit very well.

I think this is an excellent stand. So much so, that I've bought two, one for home and one for the office. Vertically or horizontally, the iPhone rests in it wonderfully. What's also great is that it is "universal," as promised. I've used it for Blackberries, and other handhelds as well.
